With a solid background as a costumier, designer and stylist for film, TV and theatre, Caaren Hulme is now providing the same quality services and expertise to men and women everywhere.

Caaren has built a solid profession out of her two passions: fashion and styling. She learned her love of clothing from her mum and grandma, a trained tailoress who ran her own shop. They taught her everything she knows about cutting, fabric draping and patternmaking. To anchor her passion, Caaren obtained a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Film, Media and Communication and completed courses in Millinery Design and Fashion Drawing.

Her very first job was with an amateur theatre company, working as a volunteer in-house Costume Designer for four years. From there, she moved to television and film, doing Costume Design work for movies (including American films and two Jackie Chan movies) and television shows. Her most recent job involved creating hundreds of outfits per week for Australia's longest running drama series "Neighbours", working as the show's Costume Designer and head of Costume Department.

Throughout her TV and film career, Caaren used her professional training and instinctive knowledge of the clothes and style that work best for each body type, physical attribute, personality and lifestyle to create characters and enhance their image onscreen. And after having spent eighteen years dressing many actors and personalities, Caaren has now set out to share her know-how with those who wish to improve their self-image and personal style-actors and non-actors alike. She offers a wide array of personalized services, from image consultations and makeovers to personal shopping. (She knows the shopping precincts of Melbourne very well-from the main shopping centres to the more eclectic shopping strips and alleyways.) Caaren believes in each client's unique attributes and potential, and works to highlight these. She helps each client visualize and create the best self-image.

Perhaps, Caaren herself sums up the importance of self-image best: "Self-image is about harmony, visual style and aesthetics; it creates personal style and confidence. It is the most important first impression we project to the world. We only get one shot at that, and you have to make it a great one."
