- Face Shape: to determine the most flattering hairstyles, earrings, hats and eye wear for the client
Unique Selling Position of YPSSP:
- The only Personalized Garment Style Identification Program that processes your clients details holistically to ensure accurate information regarding suitable garment styles for them. All other programs create recommendations by conglomerating the client's individual physical characteristics into the programs with no consideration given to how these aspects of figure interact with each other. Your Personal Style Solutions Program assesses your client's physical characteristics as individual elements and also assesses these characteristics in unison with various other aspects of the client's figure.
Examples
- Apparent bust size is relevant to height. The taller a person is the smaller their bust appears to be and visa versa.
- Jacket, sweater and top lengths need to be determined by all of the following: the client's torso to leg length, bust cup size, horizontal figure type, age and prominent features. It is only with all this information that you can give her correct and appropriate style choices.
- The most flattering and appropriate accessories for a client can only be made after consideration has been given to her height, weight and bone structure.
- The only Personalized Garment Style Identification Program that is up-dated regularly to ensure it remains current to what is in fashion stores and remains a reputation enhancing product for your business.
- A program that is owned by image a AICI CIP (Certified Image Professional) who values and listens to your suggestions and who will make additions to the program if they enhance the product.
- A program that is complemented by products that will expand your business and income stream e.g. colour swatches, workshop materials and PowerPoint presentations.
- A company with owners who care about you and your business and who are there to assist you with image related information, specialized programs designed for your business needs, mentoring, marketing ideas, personal and professional growth.
- A program designed with various entry price levels that allow image consultants to service clients with first class image products and information regardless of their budgets or experience level.
- A program that can be used for one-on-one consultations, group consultations, as a mail order product and an on-line (e)-product.
- A password protected web site that permits you instant access to client processing, ordering and a resource page to help you with personal education and promotion ideas for your business.
YPSSP is recommended and promoted by:
- Lynne Henderson AICI CIP
- Dominique Isbecque AICI CIP

Common Questions:
- If I take the Private Label Option how do you personalize your program for my business?
We place your logo and business contacts details on the front page of the portfolio and include a listing of your products and services on the dedicated Products and Services page. If you do not have many products and services we can place your "bio" or a combination of the two on the page.
- If I take the Private Label Option what will I have to give you?
We will require your logo/photograph in "jpg" or "tif" format and for you to make a page (following our template) with your products and services information.
- If I take the Private Label Option, and after I have given you what you require how long will it take you to get everything ready for me?
3 to 4 weeks.
- If I'm just starting out what do you think is the best option for me?
Option 2 as you can offer an on-the-spot consultation to your clients and you do not have to organize the printing of the major sections of the portfolio.
- If I decide on Option 2 or 3 and then want to upgrade, what happens?
We will deduct what you have already paid from the higher joining fee for the option you wish to go to.
- What if I just want to purchase your colour swatches?
You will need to join at Option 3 to gain access to our Password protected web site.
- What happens if I take one of the print options (1 or 2) and I have a paper jam or my printer ruins a page?
Each client printout is sent to you in a PDF format. So if you have a problem you can reopen the file and reprint any page you had a problem with. We also sell spare single-sided portfolio sets at a minimal price for the occasion when/if your printer chews up a page. Simply insert the spare page(s), look up the pages you need to reprint and you're off and running again.
- If I take Option 1 (Private Label), how will the process work for me?
After you have registering and your payment has cleared we will e-mail your password to you. This will allow you to enter our password protect Web site and commence the creation of the portfolios for your business and your clients.
We will customise our male and female portfolios for your business (your details and logo on the front page and Your products and Services on the Products and Services Page). We then create and send to you a Printer's CD, which you can take to your local rapid printer (e.g., Snap, Kinko's) to print the quantities of the portfolios you require.
The printed portfolios from your rapid printer come in two sections:
- A Single-sided section (45 pages) that you insert into your PC's printer to print the personal recommendations for each client. The recommendations printed by your computer in this section correspond to illustrations in the portfolio.
- A Double-sided section (90 pages) into which the single-sided section is collated and then placed in a folder or binding you supply. We recommend a pre-printed folder, or a folder with a plastic see-through front pocket into which you can slip a professionally printed slip cover. Either option should represent the quality and professionalism of your company and the products it sells.
After taking your client's measurements (measuring instructions are provided) which should take about 5 minutes all you need to do is:
- Place the single-sided set in your printer
- Enter our special web site for consultants using your password
- Select the 'Print a Portfolio' option for either a Male or Female
- Enter your client's data
- Check your input
- Press the Submit button
- You will see your client's Horizontal and Vertical figure type, Bone structure, Weight and Height category. You have the option to over-ride the Horizontal figure type, Weight or Bone structure category if you feel it appropriate.
- Press the print option.
- A minute or two will pass while we process your client's details and create the portfolio PDF.
- A PDF (Adobe Acrobat) file will appear on your computer screen that you print on the single-sided pre-printed pages you loaded into your printer earlier. This will take 3 to10 minutes depending on your printer.
- While the portfolio is printing you can continue with the consultation with your client by telling the client about the results you have seen on the computer overview. You can also use the Portfolio section headed 'How to get the most out of your portfolio' to introduce them to the Portfolio and its use.
You can save the PDF file to your computer hard drive to ensure you have a copy of the analysis for later reference, or to reprint the Portfolio should the need arise. We suggest you have 1 or 2 extra single-sided sets printed to allow for unexpected printer problems.
When the pages have finished printing you collate them into the double-sided set to create the completed Portfolio. You use this completed Portfolio as you continue through the consultation.
- Can I print the single and double sided sets from my home/business printer?
It is technically possible but due to the 500 high-resolution illustrations it would take you between 10-15 hours. A rapid printer is both cheaper and quicker.
- If I take Option 2 (On-the-spot printing), how will the process work for me?
After registering we will e-mail your password to you. This will allow you to enter our private site and get the process underway. First, we would suggest you order the start-up kit which will contain a sample male or female portfolio, a colour swatch, one of each for our booklets and our measuring kit which includes an adult sized wall chart to help measure your clients.
Then you will need to order male and female portfolio sets and any other products you intend to use (most products attract a discount when you order in bulk).
Once you receive the YPSSP sets and other stock you are ready to see clients.
YPSSP sets come with 3 components:
- The folder
- A set of Single-sided pre-printed pages (45 pages)
- A set of Double-sided pre-printed pages (90 pages)
- You can save the PDF file to your computer hard drive to ensure you have a copy of the analysis for later reference, or to reprint the Portfolio should the need arise. We suggest consultants purchase 1 or 2 extra single-sided sets to allow for unexpected printer problems.
- When the pages have finished printing you collate them into the double-sided set to create the completed Portfolio. You use this completed Portfolio as you continue through the consultation.
- What is an e-Portfolio?
An e-Portfolio is an electronic or paperless portfolio (we are currently finalising the development of this product). It works the same way as receiving a hard copy portfolio but the complete portfolio sits on the client's computer as an icon ready to be opened at any time. This is a very quick, easy and cost effective way to provide clients (especially those at a distance) with professional style advice. Since it saves you time and money you can offer the service at a reduced price. When released the e-Portfolios will initially only be available only with Options 1 and 2.
